Aleksandra Mikhailovna Khaneeva

Born in 1987, Aleksandra Mikhailovna Khaneeva liked painting and drawing beginning in her early childhood. At a young age, she decided to devote her life to being an artist and painting frescos. She pursued this passion at the Orthodox Humanitarian University named after Saint Tikhon and graduated in 2011. The Orthodox Humanitarian University, which has a very renowned Church Interior Fresco department, is also closely aligned with the famed Surikov Institute, with many professors teaching at both schools. Presently, as a result of her talent and academic training, Aleksandra is in demand to do commissioned projects in churches as well as landscape, portrait and still-life paintings. The great culture of color in ancient orthodox icons with a tradition of Russian realistic painting school has had a profound influence on her art. Aleksandra Mikhailovna Khaneeva has participated in Russian and international exhibitions and plein aire competitions.
